  Welcome to the FFAA Headquarters  New Books


While our members come from all over America and England, our Headquarters is located at the intersection of First & Maple Streets in Friendsville, Maryland.

It is housed in the old Bank building and it is the home of the Friend Family Association's library, museum and store described elsewhere on this page.

Hours:                      Museum & Library hours for this year: 2008

                     Museum : Open Tuesdays and Wednesdays  10 am to 4 pm
                                         Weekends when volunteers are available.
                     Library: Open Wednesdays  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm
                                           Other days by appointment.

FFAA Newsletter

Friend Family Store

Named in honor of our founder, the library is located on the second floor of the Headquarters building, it is equipped with historical and genealogical material primarily related to the Friend and related families. The library is NOT a lending facility, and its resources must be used on site. Genealogical research is available at a small fee - for further information, contact the Librarian.

 


Located on the first floor of the Headquarters building, the museum depicts a history of early life in the United States, the history of Western Maryland, and life of the early settlers in this country.

The Friendship Store is a mail order specialty shop ( with a retail branch at Headquarters) that specializes in products of interest to many FRIENDS, (whether or not that is their name)!
